A Night of Mystery (and Talent!)

Can you sing? Can you dance? Do you have a mysterious talent you can’t hide from the world any longer? If so, California HOSA wants you to showcase your talent at the Night of Mystery Talent Show. Building on the success of last year’s SLC Shake It Up Talent Show and Fundraiser Extravaganza, the 2012 State Leadership Conference Social Event will feature a wide variety of acts and “mysterious” talent!

For those of you who are up for the fun and challenge, sign up for the California HOSA Night of Mystery Talent Show and Fundraiser!

Want to sign up?  Here’s what you need to do…

1. Work with your advisor to register for this activity.  Remember, your advisor must approve your act!
2. Be one of the first fifteen to register.
3. Wait for notification from the California HOSA State Officer team.
4. If you are notified as one of the fifteen acts, PRACTICE , PRACTICE, PRACTICE.
5. Come to SLC 2012 prepared and ready to rock out!

The Night of Mystery Talent Show embodies the type of environment California HOSA wants to produce. As a professional organization, a talent show will help create clean, positive, and powerful entertainment while allowing the chance for members to showcase their talents beyond leadership and knowledge. The state officer team has taken into consideration all other social events, and the talent show perfectly fits our guiding principles. The talent show is an event that focuses on the members, which is what California HOSA is all about.

Similar to last year, you, the members, are going to decide which chapter (or chapter member) takes home the top prizes. You will be able to buy tickets at SLC that allow you to vote for your favorite acts and talents. All proceeds from the talent show will be used to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), as part of the National Service Project for National HOSA. You’ll be able to raise funds, mingle with the other CA HOSA members, and enjoy a wide variety of talent. The Night of Mystery Talent Show will be an event you will not want to miss!
