Marissa Rodriguez is serving as the 2026–2027 California HOSA State Secretary. She first became involved in Cal-HOSA during her freshman year while serving as a local chapter officer. Her passion for healthcare and desire to create positive change inspired her to become more involved in the organization. Through HOSA, Marissa has developed as both a leader and advocate for others. As State Secretary, she hopes to increase chapter engagement, promote inclusive and accessible statewide initiatives, and encourage members to become active at every level of HOSA. She looks forward to helping create opportunities that inspire students to grow as leaders and future healthcare professionals.
