  • Develop a plan to engage alumni members
  • Select a communication vehicle to reach out to those individuals

  • Free Alumni Pin for all graduating seniors and post-secondary

Activities for 2018/19

  • Workshop at SLC about how to engage alumni at your local chapter
  • Create a PDF flyer to send to local advisors
  • Add an Alumni corner on Cal-HOSA website
  • Develop a newsletter with spotlight/or add to existing newsletter
  • Survey to update alumni info
  • Encourage alumni to mentor a local chapter
  • Investigate creation of an Alumni Continuing Education Scholarship
  • Use LinkedIn
  • Share the alumni video

Opportunities for Alumni

  • Utilize prior HOSA experience to provide service and support at the local, state, and international levels-RLC, SLC, ILC.
  • Reconnect alumni with HOSA through service, leadership and experience.
  • Help transition of outgoing students into alumni.
  • Assist alumni in utilizing their leadership in judging, peer to peer mentoring, and workshops. General volunteer service at SLC.
