SLC Registration Process

The final deadline for conference registration receipt is posted on the Important Dates.

• ALL accrued HOSA fees must be paid in full to register for SLC.
• NO changes will be accepted by email after the close of registration or at the SLC.
• ALL changes, IF notified by the Tabulations Coordinator will be made to the SLC Registration by stated deadline.
• A $5.00 fee is required for lost or misspelled name badges at SLC.

SLC Online Registration Instructions

Information required for registration

• Student names and competitive event selections, including team member combinations
• Accurate t-shirt sizes for all registered member, advisors, and guests
• Number of voting delegates for the Student Business Meeting
• Voting delegate names

To register online for SLC follow these steps:

Conference registration is completed on the HOSA website at hosa.org.

1. Select Login from the top right navigation bar.
2. Under Local Chapter Advisors select Access Chapter Advisor Services.
3. Log in as a Local Chapter Advisor using your login and password that you use for affiliation.If you have misplaced your login and password, contact .
4. Select Conference Registration in the Conference Registration section. (You may be asked for your login and password again.)
5. Select the Cal-HOSA State Leadership Conference (SLC) Click the red square on the registration bar.
6. Select the nameof your first participant and click to register. Make sure to double-check the spelling of student names and ensure that they are appropriately entered with capitals and lower-case letters. Names you type into the system are used for name tags and competitive events.  If they are entered incorrectly, they will most likely be incorrect in several places. Be diligent with the name entries! (Reminder: If you require name spelling corrections onsite at SLC there is a $5.00 charge for each name spelling correction. Please DOUBLE-CHECK spellings to avoid fees.)
7. Student emails are required for Recognition Events that use the HOSA Tracking System.
8. Select appropriate Registration Type. Next, select Options/Activities bar for that student. The dropdown menu will allow you to select the t-shirt size for that student and voting delegate, when appropriate. You will NOT be checking students for Courtesy Corps (CC) this year.  CC will be assigned per chapter sponsorship and you will receive notification as to how many students we need from your chapter to participate as CC for the other areas that are not covered under chapter sponsorships.
9. Go to the Competitive Events See the CE chart below as to the allowable Competitive Events selection. 
10. Please indicate the appropriate name(s) for each grouped team member when registering for team events.
11. After the registration for this student is completed click
12. Continue to register all SLC participants in the same manner.
13. Be sure to register advisors, chaperones, and guests.
14. PRINT YOUR INVOICE (found in the REPORTS popup menu at the bottom left of the screen in the dark gray/black bar) and submit to your district for payment.
15. Payment is to be sent to Cal-HOSA Headquarters no later than the posted deadline.
