Fall Leadership Conference

General Information

Overview

The Cal-HOSA Fall Leadership Conferences (FLC’s) are an opportunity for students to learn about health care careers, leadership and all things HOSA! The FLC’s include information about state officer elections held at the State Leadership Conference (SLC), Competitive Events (CE), the National Service Project, as well as a variety of pertinent workshops.

Chapters who attend an FLC will bring home excited students and advisors who are motivated to develop their chapter’s Plan of Work (POW) for the upcoming Cal-HOSA year.

Introduction

California HOSA encourages involvement of those members enrolled in a Health Science and Medical Technology pathway, academy or program across the state, and the perfect way to start is by attending a Cal-HOSA Fall Leadership Conference (FLC) in one of the five California regions. Through this conference, members have an opportunity to gain skills in leadership through keynote speakers, workshops, and information regarding competitive events offered. The momentum is sparked at FLC as members, advisors, and industry partners come together to celebrate the possibilities and develop their leader within!  

 

  • Registration is now open at hosa.org. Your chapter must be affiliated before you can register.
  • Registration Cost: $15.00  
Fall Leadership Conference (FLC) Instructions for Advisors and Students

This virtual Fall Leadership Conference (FLC) will utilize the same platform that was used for the 2021 Virtual SLC this past April. There will be a wealth of live interactive events during the FLC!

 

 The chapter advisor must have completed the Cal-HOSA Affiliation Survey at Middle School/Secondary or Postsecondary and has also officially affiliated at org.

  • The chapter advisor must register the participants for the virtual Fall Leadership Conference (FLC) at hosa.org.
  • The registration process requires that each registered attendee has their own email, school or personal, listed on the registration site. NO CHAPTER EMAILS for all students!
  • Login instructions will be provided in an email no later than October 15, 2021.

 

Important Absolute Deadline:

Oct 15th at 6:00 pm
FLC registration closes 

Important items to know

  • AttireHOSA Blues or professional dress, absolutely no jeans or T-shirts
  • AdvisorsREQUIRED to attend with their students
  • ChaptersAffiliation is required to register
  • Middle School ChaptersEncouraged to attend
  • TimeRegistration begins at 8:30 am and the day will end at 12:05 pm

The cost is $15 per person for registration

 

Please note– your chapter must be affiliated with HOSA prior to the registration process for the FLC.
